Urgent requirement: we are hiring a core maker in Oliver County, North Dakota. On the job you will handle: • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale You should have: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Basic grinding and fettling skills Full-time with occasional weekends.
