Now hiring: we are hiring a solid plasterer in Trinity County, California. The job is on a busy domestic building site. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets • Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic On a typical shift you will set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work; apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls; apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat; tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler; clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets; fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads. $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
