Panel welder — Meade County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a panel welder in Meade County, South Dakota. You will work at an automobile body shop. The role involves: • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc Requirements: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. $21 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
