Lathe programmer-operator — Fayette County

Now hiring: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Fayette County, West Virginia. You will be based in a precision engineering workshop. Requirements: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts On a typical shift you will run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet.
