Power press operator — Clay County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a power press operator in Clay County, North Carolina. Day to day you will run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; record output and downtime on the production sheet. Requirements: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
