Urgent requirement: we are hiring a cake decorator in Colquitt County, Georgia. You will be based at a busy bakery. What we are looking for: • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Accurate at weighing and following recipes On the job you will handle: • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream Meals and transport allowance provided.
