Mechanical press operator — Carteret County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in Carteret County, North Carolina. The job is at a busy press shop. Your main tasks: • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation Ideal candidate: • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
