PVC window assembler — Darlington

Now hiring: we are hiring a PVC window assembler in Darlington, England. You will be based at a busy uPVC fabrication workshop. What we are looking for: • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop The role involves: • Fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents • Wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile • Drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame • Insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals Six days a week, one day off. £3,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
