Immediate opening: we are hiring a water supply plumber in Clay County, Kentucky. The job is on residential construction sites. Your main tasks: • Detect and fix leaks at joints and concealed pipework • Carry out pressure testing on newly laid pipe runs • Install wash basins, sinks, WCs and flush cisterns • Solder copper pipe joints and fit compression couplings • Lay soil and waste drainage lines to the correct fall • Trace and clear blockages in drains, traps and gully pits Requirements: • Familiar with pressure testing and leak detection • Willing to attend emergency call-outs • Sound knowledge of PPR, CPVC, PVC and GI pipe systems Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $3,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
