Great opportunity: we are hiring a bodywork technician in Pitt County, North Carolina. The job is in a smash repair workshop. On the job you will handle: • Shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer • Buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections • Measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line • Straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains • Check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull • Mask off glass, rubbers and trim before painting Ideal candidate: • Skilled in MIG welding and panel replacement • 2+ years' experience as a panel beater or in a body shop At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
