Rebar worker — Mbatoli

Immediate opening: we are hiring a rebar worker in Mbatoli, Imo State. The job is on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. What we are looking for: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire On the job you will handle: • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. ₦300,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
