Garment presser — Polk County

Now hiring: we are hiring a garment presser in Polk County, North Carolina. The job is in a busy laundry. The role involves sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; give each garment a final press before packing; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics. Requirements: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases 1+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours.
