Core maker wanted in Franklin County

Join our team: we are hiring a core maker in Franklin County, Florida. Day-to-day duties: • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together You should have: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling Full-time, day shift. $3,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
