The role involves: • Hang box gutters and downpipes for rainwater • Solder and seam standing-seam metal roof sheets • Torch on bitumen membrane across flat roofs • Carry out leak inspections and patch repairs • Install metal flashing around chimneys and skylights • Seal joints and penetrations with mastic and lead flashing Ideal candidate: • A good head for heights and steady balance • Confident working at height on ladders and scaffolds 3+ years on the tools preferred. $19 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
