Elevator technician — Stanislaus County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an elevator technician in Stanislaus County, California. You will be based at a busy lift company. On the job you will handle: • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands Requirements: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
