Immediate opening: we are hiring a bulldozer operator in Woodbury County, Iowa. You should have: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine Day to day you will maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear; strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse; rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank; carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil; refuel the machine and record running hours; spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $4,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
