Hand presser — Marin County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a hand presser in Marin County, California. You will be based in a tailoring workshop. On the job you will handle: • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure Requirements: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work Part-time with flexible hours.
