Rigger — Alcona County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a rigger in Alcona County, Michigan. You will be based at a busy construction site. Day to day you will coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position. You should have: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
