Lathe programmer-operator — Meade County

Now hiring: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Meade County, Kansas. On a typical shift you will change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; write and edit G-code programs at the control; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; run first-off inspection and sign off the part. What we are looking for: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred 3+ years on the tools preferred.
