Construction helper — Middlesex County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a construction helper in Middlesex County, New Jersey. The role involves: • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction • Erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate • Carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site What we are looking for: • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times • Physically fit and comfortable working at height • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it Part-time with flexible hours.
