Bulldozer operator — Macon County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a bulldozer operator in Macon County, Illinois. You will be based at a land-clearing site. The role involves maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear; grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms; follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels; rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank; form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle; strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse. Requirements: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
