Shuttering fixer — Coles County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a shuttering fixer in Coles County, Illinois. Day to day you will brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour; apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured. What we are looking for: • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules Pay around $4,300 per month, based on your experience.
