Requirements: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line The role involves inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching.
