Great opportunity: we are hiring a crane operator in Butler County, Kansas. Requirements: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Able to read load charts and lifting plans The role involves grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; work out the load weight and the lifting radius; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; read and interpret the load chart before every lift. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
