Now hiring: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in Neath Port Talbot, Wales. You should have: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses On a typical shift you will operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
