Single needle operator • Hale County, Alabama

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a single needle operator in Hale County, Alabama. You will work at a busy garment factory. The role involves: • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet Requirements: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
