Vacancy available: we are hiring a commis chef in Jones County, Mississippi. You will be based in a hospital or office canteen. Day to day you will knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha; cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations; chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat; label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in; follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces; plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service. Requirements: • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
