Great opportunity: we are hiring a panel technician in Union County, Illinois. You will be based at an accident repair garage. You will strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair; knock out dents and creases using a panel hammer and dolly; check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull; shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer; pull out deep dents with a slide hammer or stud welder. Ideal candidate: • Steady hand for filler work and block sanding • Confident reading insurance estimates and damage reports • Physically fit for lifting panels, bending and kneeling 5+ years on the tools preferred.
