Flatlock machine operator — Bowie County

Join our team: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Bowie County, Texas. You will be based at a knitwear stitching unit. You will topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
