Join our team: we are hiring a pipe lagger in Louisa County, Iowa. The job is on a construction site. What we are looking for: • Willing to travel between sites • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane Your main tasks: • Install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations • Fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors • Lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding • Fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters • Torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations • Wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding Full-time with occasional weekends.
