Gardener — Greene County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gardener in Greene County, Alabama. The job is in a residential garden complex. What we are looking for: • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Happy to work outdoors in all weather Day-to-day duties: • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs Full-time, day shift. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around $2,900 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
