Day-to-day duties: • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production Ideal candidate: • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • Able to grind and set HSS cutters Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
