Crane rigger — Jackson County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a crane rigger in Jackson County, Florida. You will be based at a shipyard. You will take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight. You should have: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends.
