Immediate opening: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Wadena County, Minnesota. The role involves keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension. What we are looking for: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory 5+ years on the tools preferred.
