Gas meter installer — Stark County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Stark County, Illinois. On the job you will handle: • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation Requirements: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
