Great opportunity: we are hiring a backhoe loader operator in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana. On the job you will handle: • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles Ideal candidate: • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
