Hoist operator — Ouray County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a hoist operator in Ouray County, Colorado. You will be based on a busy construction site. Ideal candidate: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging Day to day you will read and interpret the load chart before every lift; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
