Overlocker operator — Screven County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Screven County, Georgia. You will work on an export house sewing floor. On a typical shift you will operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension. You should have: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
