Die-casting operator • Troup County, Georgia

We are recruiting: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Troup County, Georgia. You will work at an aluminium die-casting plant. Ideal candidate: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding You will shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
