We are recruiting: we are hiring a tyre technician in Washington County, Colorado. You will be based at a roadside mobile fitting unit. Requirements: • Able to lift heavy car and truck tyres repeatedly • Knowledge of correct torque settings and TPMS resets Day to day you will balance wheels on a computerised wheel balancer and fit clip-on weights; check tread depth with a depth gauge and spot uneven wear; torque the wheel nuts to spec with a torque wrench; repair punctures with mushroom plugs and internal patches; keep the tyre bay tidy and dispose of scrap tyres; carry out wheel alignment and adjust camber and toe.
