Rigger — Burlington County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a rigger in Burlington County, New Jersey. You will work in a heavy machinery workshop. Ideal candidate: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites Your main tasks: • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use Rotating shifts.
