Rebar installer — Brown County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a rebar installer in Brown County, Ohio. You will work at a precast concrete yard. On a typical shift you will fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman. Ideal candidate: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
