Vacancy available: we are hiring a finishing presser in Ovia South-West, Edo. The job is in a garment export house. What we are looking for: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases Your main tasks: • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Give each garment a final press before packing • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
