Lathe programmer-operator — Lancaster County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Lancaster County, Nebraska. The job is in a precision engineering workshop. Requirements: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls Day to day you will watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; run first-off inspection and sign off the part; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances; write and edit G-code programs at the control.
