Digger driver — Saint Joseph County

Now hiring: we are hiring a digger driver in Saint Joseph County, Michigan. You will work in a demolition and site-clearance yard. The role involves: • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly Requirements: • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
