Vacancy available: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Jefferson County, Colorado. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. What we are looking for: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Strong attention to safety and load limits The role involves: • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines Full-time with occasional weekends.
