Now hiring: we are hiring a power float operator in Starr County, Texas. On the job you will handle: • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish Ideal candidate: • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds Full-time with occasional weekends.
