Quality assurance assistant wanted in Madison County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a quality assurance assistant in Madison County, North Carolina. The job is at a busy manufacturing plant. Day-to-day duties: • Inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting • Measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing • Draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans You should have: • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges • Able to stand for full shifts on the production floor • Willing to work rotating and night shifts Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
