Horizontal milling machine operator — Shoshone County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Shoshone County, Idaho. The job is in a toolroom. Day-to-day duties: • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines Ideal candidate: • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
