Single needle operator — Morgan County

Join our team: we are hiring a single needle operator in Morgan County, Alabama. You will be based on an export house sewing floor. The role involves: • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift Requirements: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
